Assessment
Applications and nominations for the Erbakan Prizes are made between the 1st of October and the 30th of November. In December, the Prize Organization Committee reviews the applications and compliance of documents and content with the conditions specified. The file related to each candidate is made ready for the evaluation of the Jury. Suggestions or applications made with missing documents are not taken into consideration.
The jury holds the assessment meetings in January. While the pre-assessment process for the candidates is carried out in consultation, during the final nomination process, each member makes an assessment of the candidates over 100 points. The average raw scores are determined by summing the points given to each candidate by all members and dividing it by the number of members. A ranking is made from the candidate with the highest votes. If one of the jury members has any reservations about the candidate with the highest score, he or she can express this and the final decision is made with the majority vote of the members.
The final list for prizes is notified to the Prize Organization Committee.
